Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the VEKTRAX website or any of our logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, or shipment tracking services ("Services"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you") and VEKTRAX Ltd ("VEKTRAX", "we", "us").

By accessing our website or using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Our Services

VEKTRAX provides domestic and international logistics services including air freight, road freight, sea freight, rail freight, warehousing and fulfilment, multimodal freight forwarding, and real-time shipment tracking. Specific service terms may be outlined in separate service agreements or rate cards provided to you.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of Services.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of our Services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Maintain the security of your password and promptly notify us of any unauthorised access.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account.
  • Not share your account credentials with third parties.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

3. Shipment Acceptance and Prohibited Items

By booking a shipment, you represent that the contents comply with all applicable laws and regulations. VEKTRAX does not accept the following items for shipment:

  • Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances without authorisation.
  • Explosives, flammable materials, or weapons (unless subject to a separate approved agreement).
  • Counterfeit goods, stolen property, or items subject to trade sanctions.
  • Live animals (unless covered under a specific animal transport agreement).
  • Human remains or body parts (except under licensed funeral or medical arrangements).
  • Any item prohibited by the laws of the origin, destination, or transit countries.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your shipment contents comply with all applicable laws and customs regulations. VEKTRAX may refuse, hold, or return any shipment found to contain prohibited items and may report such findings to relevant authorities.

4. Rates, Fees, and Payment

Shipping rates are as quoted at the time of booking. All rates are subject to fuel surcharges, customs duties, handling fees, and applicable taxes. Final charges may vary from estimates based on actual weight, dimensions, or services required.

Payment is due as specified in your invoice or service agreement. Late payments may incur interest at the applicable statutory rate. VEKTRAX reserves the right to hold shipments or suspend services for overdue accounts.

5. Liability and Claims

Our liability for loss or damage to goods is limited as follows:

  • For international air freight, liability is governed by the Montreal Convention.
  • For international sea freight, liability is governed by the Hague-Visby Rules.
  • For road freight, liability is governed by the CMR Convention (where applicable) or our standard trading conditions.
  • Our maximum liability shall not exceed the declared value of the goods or the applicable convention limits, whichever is lower.

Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery (or the expected delivery date in the case of loss). VEKTRAX shall not be liable for consequential loss, loss of profits, or indirect damages.

We strongly recommend purchasing cargo insurance for high-value shipments. We can assist in arranging appropriate insurance coverage upon request.

6. Transit Times and Delays

All transit times quoted are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in a Service Level Agreement. VEKTRAX is not liable for delays caused by customs holds, adverse weather, labour disputes, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the VEKTRAX website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, is the property of VEKTRAX or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed in writing. For international commercial disputes, we may agree to arbitration under the ICC Rules.
